Permit use:

The permit is for your use only and remains the property of MSU. Use by another individual, misuse, reproduction or alteration of the permit is subject to revocation of the permit and the parking permission it affords.

Permit display:

The permit has adhesive on the face of it. Once you receive it, remove the adhesive shields and affix it to the interior, lower left-hand corner (driver’s side) of the front windshield of the vehicle you designated its use on at the time you ordered it. The entire permit must be clearly visible when viewing it from outside the vehicle to validate your parking. It is not valid if displayed otherwise. The permit is not valid on motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, e-scooters, bicycles or e-bicycles. Call us regarding parking a motorcycle on campus. For moped, scooter, e-scooter, bicycle and e-bicycle permit information, please see “Bicycle” and “Moped” below.

THE PERMIT IS REPOSITIONABLE. Although the adhesive is strong, the permit is designed to be removed and reaffixed on a vehicle that you designate and register with us for its use on. You must call us for authorization before using this permit on a vehicle other than the one you registered with us at the time you ordered it. Please have the vehicle registration and your MSU ID available when you call. If…

The lot you may park in is indicated on the permit. To view the location, go to https://maps.msu.edu (scroll into the map, lot numbers are circled). Lot numbers, and lot requirements and restrictions are posted at lot entrances. In addition to the lot indicated on the front of your permit, your permit is also valid in Lot 89. Instead, park in Lot 89 with your permit.
