MSU DPPS hires Jaclyn Sayen as first Community Liaison Coordinator

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety (MSU DPPS) is excited to welcome Jaclyn Sayen as its first Community Liaison Coordinator. Sayen began her role with the department in November. Sayen was born in Hancock, Michigan and later moved to Okemos. EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety (DPPS) is excited to welcome Jacquez Gray as its first Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Gray began his role with the department in November. Gray was born and raised on the southside of Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Kenwood Academy High School. He later attended Western Illinois University for his bachelor’s degree, majoring in law enforcement and justice administration. MSU Alert: Timely Warning for Robbery

Date Occurred: 12/9/2022 Location: West Circle Drive Synopsis: At approximately 12:06am on 12/9/2022, the Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety received a report of a carjacking that occurred along West Circle Drive, specifically near the Main Library. A police chase ensued and two individuals were apprehended in the city of Lansing. There is an ongoing investigation regarding this incident. DPPS officially announces department-wide rebranding

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety (DPPS) is excited to announce our department-wide rebranding. The new brand of DPPS is a recommitment to operating with the highest degree of transparency, responsibility, and respect. The new brand includes a lime green shield as the department-wide logo, which represents all functions and operations within DPPS.
