EAST LANSING, Mich. (5/9/22 @ 3 p.m.) — MSU Police and Public Safety is working to locate Nicole Kuang, a 22-year-old MSU student. She last spoke to her family on May 7 at 10 a.m. Investigators have learned that Nicole sent an invitation to her family regarding a graduation ceremony at Spartan Stadium they believed she would be participating in, but when the family arrived on campus, they could not locate Nicole and later learned she was not eligible to participate in graduation this semester.

Nicole is 5’05”, 120 pounds, and may or may not be wearing glasses. She was last seen at Gilchrist Hall, wearing a light-blue zip-up sweatshirt, a light red or pink shirt, black shorts with red and white writing on the left leg, and black and white converse shoes.

Investigators mobilized search teams this weekend and are scouring the area for her, while also following-up on other investigative leads. Video camera footage around the date and time she was last seen is also being reviewed.

MSU Police and Public Safety is working every possible angle of this case swiftly and meticulously and the priority right now is reuniting this family with their daughter and sister.

We will share more information with the public as it becomes available. We ask anyone with information about Nicole’s whereabouts, or anyone who believes they have seen her to contact MSU Police and Public Safety at 844-99-MSUPD or tips@police.msu.edu.
