Violations
All parking violations must be paid or appealed within seven (7) days from the date of issuance. The fine is paid or the appeal process initiated with the Parking Office. If a violation is not properly disposed of within seven (7) days after issuance, a ten dollar ($10) late fee shall be added to the fine and the violator sent an overdue notice. In addition, unpaid violations will cause withholding from class registration or other appropriate action. Longer delays will result in the use of a collection service and a judgment against you with additional fees. Partial payments are not accepted. Payment must be in full, including late fees and/or collection fees. If you have six or more unpaid violations your vehicle may be impounded under provisions of state law and local ordinance.
Ordinance and parking regulations are enforced 24 hours a day 7 days a week except during official University holidays:
- Christmas
- New Years
- Thanksgiving
- Labor Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
Note: Even though students do not have classes on some important days, such as Martin Luther King Day, they are not University Holidays.
